On February 24, 2022, the war broke out. Yana hoped that their small town would be quiet and safe. But... their town of Marhanets is constantly under fire and she, her son, adult daughter and 2-month-old granddaughter had to leave the city. 
With the help of the project “Rescue for Mom.2” in 2022, we were able to purchase sensors for an insulin pump and necessary medicines and send them to Poland, where Yana and her children are currently staying.
In 2023, we used the project funds to help Yana, send her medicines, a new sensor reader and sensors for the insulin pump in the amount of UAH 31,590.86. At the end of February 2024, we sent Yana 4 more sensors for the amount of UAH 10,000.00, and in September 2 more for the amount of UAH 4,500.00.
In January and April 2025, we sent Yana 4 blood sugar sensors each. 
We plan to spend the remaining unused funds in the amount of UAH 11,508.14 in 2025 on the purchase of the necessary medicines and sensors.
