The diagnosis "lymphangioma of head and neck" was made to Artem since his birth - a benign tumor terribly grew in the face and neck of the child, threatening his life. As a result of this tumor, anatomical airways of Artem were as much pressed, that the child has been living all of his three years only with the help of tracheostoma (a tube in the trachea, through which the boy is breathing).

Artem’ tumor has been excised by piecemeal. Three face and neck operations have already been made. But the tumor still looks threateningly. If photographs of the boy made after each operation are compared, we can see that as a result of each operation the tumor became smaller, which made Artem much easier to breathe. Doctors are planning to remove the tracheostoma soon, they promise that Artem will be able to breathe on his own and nothing shall prevent him from getting speaking.

The fourth operation should be made soon, which according to doctors should significantly change the child appearance for the best. This operation should be made by Izrael hospital "Ichilov" (Tel Aviv). The invoice for the amount of 24,869 USD was issued by this hospital with deadline for payment till 25th of May. We want very much to collect necessary amount of money by that date. We understand that this is very short notice, but we believe that with the support of donors everything is possible!
