Smile through tears. 3
He is an adult child who has a number of diagnoses: a heavy form of cerebral palsy, microcephaly and epileptic seizures, so that he doesn't have any chance for absolute recovery. Now the boy's mother struggles lest he got worse and he hasn't lost the skills acquired. He has acquired these skills not easily, with enormous difficulties and high material costs.
She has to overcome numerous obstacles from day to day. She learned paying no heed to scowling glances of misunderstandings. Like all parents, she craves for her child being appreciated whatever he was. More than anyone else she fears for her child; what happens to him if she leaves? She struggles for him; even if it is hard for him to do something, he deserves attention.
You may think that everything written here is not your business at all, but you can meet such a mother with her child like this one by accident. Smile at him, even if he doesn’t smile at you; stretch out your hand if he can’t greet you. Explain to your children that this happens in life, just someone is strong and someone is weak. And the strong support the weak, that's what makes us people.
Someone stands out of others, but it doesn't mean he or she is bad, you just need to learn how to understand these people. Owing to "different", we change, improve our minds by helping them. We have already introduced Artem to you in our previous project. He is almost 20 years old and the only child in his family. It is always very difficult to organize fund raising for treatment for adult and gravely ill children. It is clear that the little ones can always move people around to tears and there is a glimmer of hope to complete recovery of lost body functions. But what to undertake for disappointed mothers having adult children, such as Artem? He is an adult child who has a number of diagnoses: a heavy form of cerebral palsy, microcephaly and epileptic seizures, so that he doesn't have any chance for absolute recovery. Now the boy's mother struggles lest he got worse and he hasn't lost the skills acquired. He has acquired these skills not easily, with enormous difficulties and high material costs. Sums required for rehabilitation are so high and it’s an overwhelming task for one family exhausted after long years of disease. That's why Artem's mother begs for help, for her only little son – a great boy!
