We need a device that saves damaged body tissues. Lviv
As a result of the war in Ukraine, thousands of people were left homeless, hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians were forced to leave their homes and go to safer regions of the country, and some abroad. Lviv has become one of the shelter cities for migrants, including many children.
Adults and children fleeing the horrors of war often suffered injuries and various injuries, so here they seek medical help. One of the institutions that receive and rescue both the youngest patients and adults is the First Territorial Association of Lviv. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russian troops, 810 internally displaced children have been treated here. One third of them had surgical pathologies and underwent surgery.
Due to this, the doctors of the surgery department of the surgery center of the First Territorial Association of Lviv urgently need a device for welding living tissues. It is used to "weld" torn tissues in patients of any age during surgery, which allows you to save organs or parts without removal.
Today, the surgical department of this hospital provides care to children and adults affected by the war in our country, particularly in the East, after receiving emergency medical care. There are also adults and children who have received severe limb injuries, such as Jana and her family (pictured). During the year, the department provides assistance to about 2,000 children.
Thanks to this project, we will purchase a device for welding living tissues, which will help doctors perform complex operations and save lives!
