Arseniy urgently needs the medication Bioven. Without it, it’s impossible to stop the progression of the disease.

The boy has autoimmune encephalitis, a condition in which the immune system mistakenly attacks the brain’s own cells. As recently as January, he was going to school, building in Minecraft, and taking care of his cats. Then came the seizures, loss of speech, and a period of unconsciousness. Eventually, doctors in Lviv were able to diagnose him and find an effective treatment.

After four courses of Bioven therapy, Arseniy’s condition has improved, but the battle against the disease continues. He still struggles with memory, attention, and sleep problems, headaches, and the fear of another seizure.

In 2021, Arseniy lost his father. His mother, who is currently on maternity leave, is taking care of him and his younger son, Adrian.

Over the past six months, the family has spent a significant amount of money on treatment and medical tests. Their resources are nearly exhausted, and they now need our support.
