Petya is 9 years old, but he still doesn't speak. He is considered one of those "special" children with whom people do not know how to behave and avoid, because the boy has an autism spectrum disorder and other concomitant diagnoses. Petya lives in Kharkiv with his two younger sisters and mother. Inna's mother tries her best to provide a happy present and future for her children, but for Petya they can't always give him everything he needs… And the boy needs treatment that reduces the intensity of the disorder and helps him develop, learn, communicate with people and do everything those simple things that every child does.

Petya is studying in an inclusive class of a secondary school. Very sensitive boy, loves music, drawing, working with designers, animals, respects the environment. The boy and I have been involved in development centers many times, there are steps forward, but if we stop paying due attention, everything can go to zero. At present, Peter needs sound-frequency therapy according to the Tomatis method and bioacoustic correction of the brain (BAC).

Autism is a genetic disorder, but not one that is simply passed down from generation to generation, but one that results from a complex combination of mutations and involves the interaction of more than 700 genes. But why exactly autism occurs is still unknown, although large-scale research is being conducted around the world. Autism is not a disease but a condition.

Disorders of social interactions are the most striking sign that distinguishes autism from other developmental disorders. Children with autism cannot fully interact with other people. They do not feel the state of others, do not recognize nonverbal signals, do not understand the subtext of social contacts. This symptom can be detected in infants. Such children react weakly to adults, do not look into the eyes, are more willing to fix their gaze on inanimate objects, rather than on the people around them. They do not smile, do not respond well to their own name, do not reach out to an adult when trying to pick them up.

Parents make a lot of effort to cure the boy, but unfortunately, they do not have the funds to pay for such treatment.

Peter has a chance. It can be cured, but with the necessary medical care.
