Lifetime struggle

Today our story is about 6-year-old Maksym, who has been struggling with cerebral palsy and all types of developmental delay all his life. And it began from the first days of the baby's life: a few hours after birth, he needed a blood transfusion, tracheal intubation and stay under a lamp due to congenital jaundice. However, Maksym only got worse...

The consequence of this was children's intensive care, a ventilator and the struggle for the boy's life, which hung in the balance. Fortunately, the doctors saved Maksym.

After a long 2 months in the hospital, the boy finally got home. However, he was very painful and restless, in need of constant care, because sometimes he stopped breathing. Maksym has weak immunity, severe spasticity, epilepsy and cerebral palsy. At home, parents regularly massage their son and engage in physiotherapy exercises, and after the cessation of convulsive seizures, Maksym was able to visit rehabilitation centers. All this brought positive results until the boy developed problems with the gastrointestinal tract, due to which he became very thin and did not feel well.

Considering Maksym's diagnosis, he constantly needs to study and attend rehabilitation, but the boy's parents are not able to pay for them on their own due to a difficult financial situation. However, together we can help Max and send him for much needed treatment!
