Shelter for families that suffered from the war. 3
The war changed the lives of all Ukrainians. Someone’s family members passed away, someone was forced to move to other places, someone was left without a job or lost his home. Graduates of residential institutions do not have their own home. During this difficult time for all of us, we continue to support people who have been left homeless, providing them with temporary shelter and meeting their basic needs. To give them confidence we try to provide our clients with everything necessary for life in wartime.
Our mini shelter in Kyiv gives people a sense of security, confidence and an opportunity to feel kinship between residents. The most important thing is that with the coming of autumn cold, many people are worried about how to survive this winter in warmth, and the prices of food, medicine, treatment, and transport are constantly increasing. Without our help, families and young people who have become homeless can be on the streets.
In our mini-shelter, 15 adults and children can temporarily live, receiving food assistance, transportation, psychological and social support, which they need to bear the losses in their lives.
We need your financial support for our project, namely: for the purchase of products, medicines, hygiene products for the wards of our shelter. As part of the project, we will also be able to pay for communal services, the work of a social worker and a driver for a month.
