"My name is Karyna, I am 8 years old. I finished the 1st form, I have good results, and I have very happy family: my mother, brother and me! Mom and Dad love me, but my father does not live with us. I was born, as my mom says, a special child, because there is a big stain on my chest. I find it difficult to live with it, because children ask me what it is, some kids don't want to be friends with me, they say that I am sick. I ask God to help me, because I want to be like the other children. Help me, please, I want to be like others".

This is a special desire of little Karina, and she prays every day her disease to fade away. A girl wears neck sweaters only to make her stains not to be seen, however, but it is very difficult in summer. "Mom says we will treat me, and there will be no stain on my skin, but we need a lot of money for it. Unfortunately, we don't have such money, because only my mother works in our family. We go to Kyiv for treatment at the Institute of Bohomolets, and the stain began to disappear. I'm very happy. I hurt when laser treated me, but I suffer, I believe that this will help! " - says little but strong Karina.

The girl needs treatment in "Dr. Bohomolets Institute of Dermatology" in Kyiv. It is the only hospital in Ukraine that can help little girl get well. Treatment of laser pulses is expensive but very necessary, since stains in Karina eventually increase. If not treated early, glaucoma can be even epilepsy.

Donors of ubb.org.ua has helped raise 54 200 UAH which was enough for 2 treatments of Karina. There are 3 more courses needed with the total amount of 68 300 UAH. Three courses of using special laser can help to clear the girl’s skin from the terrible stains.
Only by combining efforts, we can help Karyna become healthy and get rid of stains on her child's body.
