Tumor takes her life away!

22-year-old Tetiana is in a dire need of help. It turned up that her bad headaches and eye problems were caused by a benign tumor. Doctors managed to remove it only partially. Tetiana has to undergo a course of proton irradiation. Her family has paid for two operations to remove the tumor so far. Unfortunately, there is no money for irradiation left. The family consists of Tetyana's mother, her three sisters, and her three-year-old daughter. She has no one else to help her.

Tetiana has to undergo a course of proton irradiation. Her family has paid for two operations to remove the tumor so far. Unfortunately, there is no money for irradiation left. Headaches began to bother the girl since 2012. Later, her vision began to fall. In summer 2018, her left eye stopped seeing completely and Tetiana began having hearing problems. At the same time, her headaches became even worse. She had an examination underwent by an oculist, neurosurgeon, an oncologist. At the Institute of Neurosurgery named after Academician Romodanov, she was diagnosed and undertook in order to operate. Because of the large blood loss, the operation had to be carried out in two stages. The difficulty was caused by the position of the tumor being too deep. They did not remove it completely, recommending an irradiation procedure.

Biopsy showed that the tumor is benign. And it is irradiated only by protons. In the nearest future, Tetyana will have to have this procedure. But she has absolutely no money left to pay for it. This young and beautiful girl can lose her eye. That is why parallel to her main treatment, Tetiana is being observed at the Institute of Eye Diseases and Tissue Therapy named after V.P. Filatov in Odessa, Ukraine. Tetiana Shpura’s family is in a great need of your help. Tetiana’s relatives are very worried about her. They rent a house in the village having only a small amount of money left for everyday needs such as food.
