Joy of movement on New Year's!

10-year-old Illia asks Santa to give him a bike. It seems to be just a common dream a boy of his age, but Illia still can't walk. For a boy from a small village Pershotravneve in Zhytomyr region this is the only opportunity to be able to overcome a distance longer than 100 meters. Now he can walk 100 meters only using the walker, because his feet don't obey him and painful convulsions begin because of the muscle tension. Let's make this New Year for Illia really special!

Illia always admired how deftly joyfully a mailwoman Natalie moves when brings villagers their mail and to Illia - also his pension allowance. Natalie is such a fun and is always waited in each house… "How great that would be if that was me riding through the village with the air in the face!" – he says. Is this only trickery for a child with cerebral palsy who cannot maintain his balance even while standing on his feet, not speaking of the two wheels? It takes him s lot of efforts to button up or lace up boots, and have to walk with the help of walkers.

And we learned that there are special rehabilitation bikes for children with cerebral palsy. This bike is a joyful entertainment and daily exercise, which helps to overcome pain and cramps. Doctors claim that ride on such a simulator relieves pain for about 5-7 days, develops muscles and the child begins to walk better. Ilya intelligence is secured, so he can manage the special bike, all the more so it has three wheels.

Illia studies in Potiyivskiy specialized school for children with consequences of polio and cerebral palsy in Radomyshlsky district, Zhytomyr region. On vacation and holidays mother takes the child home to Pershotravneve village. They live only with the mother alone, no more relatives of Illia there. He is very happy when the mailwoman Natasha comes, they talk, and the boy enthusiastically scrutinizes the two-wheel transport she manages.
