There is only Army between us and the terrorists. Help Army - protect yourself! We all want that the long-awaited peace and tranquility prevail in our troubled Homeland finally. To preserve the integrity and independence of Ukraine our soldiers risk their lives every day. Every day during anti-terrorist operation Ukraine take casualties...

Our aim is to help save and treat the wounded soldiers because timely and high quality health care is as important for winning as armor or talent of the commanders.
Charitable Foundation "Open Hearts of Ukraine" continues charity campaign with the aim to raise funds for the purchase of medical equipment for military hospitals. In July and August 2014, we all have achieved considerable success – during the first two projects "Wounds of the Undeclared War" more than 170 thousand UAH were raised. Collected funds are used efficiently and transparently: seven sets of equipment for vacuum therapy of wounds total cost of which is 182 351.46 UAH were bought and transferred to the Military Medical Centre in the Northern region (Kharkiv Military Hospital). This equipment allowed hospital to improve results of the treatment of wounded and injured participants of the anti-terrorist operation and to reduce complications and duration of the treatment.

Under the significant increase in the number of wounded Kharkov Military Hospital needs mobile oxygen concentrators. This equipment is used to supply patient with oxygen directly as well as to connect artificial lung apparatus. The use of oxygen concentrators will help conduct safe oxygen therapy to wounded and injured people in the medical wards, not only in the intensive care unit where are only a limited number of beds, connected with central oxygen system. This will allow more wounded and damaged soldiers to undergo comprehensive intensive treatment and to reduce treatment time. Kharkiv military hospital requires at least two of these items with a total value of 94 500 UAH.

Kharkiv military hospital requires also ECG and blood pressure Holter monitor. With the use of this equipment daily monitoring of ECG and blood pressure in patients with cardiovascular disease, detection of hidden disease in soldiers who received gunshot wounds and blunt chest trauma, Mino-explosive destruction of the head and torso with suspected cardiac contusion can be done. Most significantly a Holter Monitor will detect hidden cardiovascular disease in soldiers for purposes of treatment, military and medical examination (to avoid sending to the anti-terrorist operation region soldiers with hidden forms of cardiac arrhythmias, coronary artery disease, hypertension). The cost of a Holter monitor is 32 667 UAH.

Only together, aimed at the common goal we can win, we can protect our home, return peace to our country and save lives of our fellow citizens. Help us to save life and health of Ukrainian soldiers, because they are the best sons of Ukraine, and therefore they should live! Soldiers are ready to save us. Are we ready to save them?
