Together for good deeds: nutrition without barriers

Project goal: to provide hot meals to people who find themselves in difficult life circumstances and are unable to feed themselves, particularly elderly people and people with disabilities who live below the poverty line.
The project “Together for Good Deeds: Food Without Barriers” was posted on the platform of the International Charitable Foundation “UBB” dobro.ua in March 2025.
In May 2025, the entire amount for the project was raised. Thanks to your support, we purchased food products worth 9,896.00 (nine thousand eight hundred ninety-six) hryvnias and disposable tableware for organizing regular hot meals worth 15,500.00 (fifteen thousand five hundred) hryvnias. Bank fees amounted to 104 (one hundred and four) hryvnias. The food was prepared by volunteers at our social space and distributed to people who had previously been identified as vulnerable. At our humanitarian headquarters at 18 Ruska Street, Berdychiv, 600 complete meals were distributed over three months, and 240 meals were delivered by volunteers to the homes of beneficiaries.
Hot meals included side dishes, meat, salads, bread, and sometimes fruit. The food met the needs of the elderly: it was easy to digest, nutritious, and fresh. For people who could not move around on their own, volunteers organized home delivery.
