Together Against Blood Cancer

Do you want to help a person in the fight against blood cancer? You can do it! UBMDR creates a register of bone marrow donors. A donor is a person who gives a chance to life to children and adults with blood cancer and other diseases. More than 1,200 potential donors are registered in the Ukrainian Register of Bone Marrow Donors. The register searches for donors for young Ukrainians at the request of OKHMATDYT hospital, in its database and in the world register.

On April 1, 2020, UBMDR found a donor and brought rescue hematopoietic stem cells for little Nazarchyk, thanks to which the first bone marrow transplant from a non-family donor took place in the history of Ukraine! And this is just the beginning! Join us!

The more donors in the registry, the higher the chance of saving lives! We, within one nation, are more related – so a suitable donor can be among us. Our team of like-minded people is doing everything to make transplantation real in Ukraine! But we need YOUR support in this fight. Analysis of one donor costs 40 euros in the laboratory. Your charitable contribution will allow us to register everyone wishing to become a bone marrow donor and fill the Ukrainian register!
