The UBB website raised funds in the amount of UAH 2,215,940.06. to purchase a system of mechanical support for the heart. The total cost of consumables is UAH 4,690,200.00. The funds raised on the dobro.ua website by the Heart on the Palm Charitable Foundation were directed on March 13, 2020 to a partial payment for the mechanical heart support system, which our fund received on March 17, 2020 from the supplier IRIDIUM LLC. mechanical support of the heart was on the balance of the State Institution "Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine". The implantation of a mechanical heart support system for Bystrytsky Yevhen was scheduled for March 2020, but it became impossible to carry it out indefinitely due to the spread of acute respiratory disease COVID-19 caused by the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 in Ukraine. In this regard, the leadership of the State Institution "Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine" with the support of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine asked colleagues from the Republic of Belarus to conduct an operation at the Republican Research and Practice Center "Cardiology" During his stay at the Republican Research and Practice Center "Cardiology" of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, Eugene had positive changes in health, his heart worked better, the emission fraction increased to 40. At present, the guy needs only drug maintenance therapy. Due to the fact that the boy no longer needed a system of mechanical support of the heart, our foundation asked the UBB ICF to change the beneficiary and allow the operation for Medvedev Nikolai Vladimirovich (born May 19, 1956), who was admitted to the department myocardial pathology and transplantation of human organs and tissues of the Heart Institute in a very serious condition. The patient needed urgent surgery. In order to save Mykola Volodymyrovych's life, on January 26, 2021, specialists of the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine implanted a system of mechanical support for his heart. The postoperative period passed without complications and on February 19, 2021 the patient was discharged from the hospital.
