In 2014 Pasha (now he is 26 years old) was injured - a comminuted fracture of the 5 cervical vertebra with a severe spinal cord injury. Pasha’s body has been paralysed below his neck for the last 2 years. The first operation was performed immediately in order to replace the damaged vertebra with a titanium structure. Since that time Pasha has to live in a wheelchair and he needs rehabilitation.

Thanks to the donors from UBB, Pasha has completed 3 rehabilitation programs . And if the first rehabilitation was carried out with tears, now there are already very impressive results. Now with help of uneven bars he can independently take steps by his right foot. He can do some push-ups on mats and he can rise himself from lying to a sitting position. He keeps his body with more confidence and he can sit on a hemisphere. Sitting on mats he can throw 3 kgs ball. He also rises a little bit on all fours. Nowadays he has more muscle mass in his hands and feet.

"Guta" rehabilitation centre in Zaporozhye is the most suitable for Pavel in order for him to get his rehabilitation there taking into consideration his health condition as it is affordable considering the excellent quality of providing rehabilitation activities. We sincerely believe that together we can help Pasha to continue his path to rehabilitation and that eventually he will get up from his wheelchair and start living his life to the fullest with his young wife and kids. Him, his family and all of us, the volunteers, ask you to help Pasha. In the "Guta" centre Pasha is expected to come on the 19th of April. If there is not enough money we have before this date, then Pasha will not be able to get his rehabilitation for another several months, as people working in this centre reserve all procedures for their clients several months ahead.

Without having your support, this family can not cope on its own and Pasha will be doomed to disability... Gudym family begs you for your help! Pasha was recommended to undergo 5-6 months of rehabilitation each year for the best possible effect. Therefore, dear Donors, we appeal to you for help in raising funds to put the young man on his feet. His whole life is all ahead, two sons are in a great need of both of their parents’ attention and Pasha’s strong shoulder. Getting your help, he will be able to carry his children in his arms as well as play football with them. And most importantly, he will be healthy.
