Every life saved begins with warmth
Every day in Ukraine, babies weighing less than 1,500 grams are born. They are not yet ready to face the world: they cannot breathe on their own, keep warm, or fight for their lives without help. All they have are doctors, human hands, and equipment that supports them during their first, most difficult days.
It is for these babies that the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Perinatal Center has received a new Lifetherm 2002 Loewenstein Medical (Germany) resuscitation system.
This modern equipment automatically maintains the required temperature, has a heated table and a gel mattress for delicate skin, and allows the baby's position to be changed to make breathing easier and stabilize blood pressure.
This system is not just a piece of equipment. It is a chance at life for premature babies from Donetsk, Kharkiv, Kherson, and other regions whose mothers have found refuge in this center since the beginning of the war.
The transfer of equipment was made possible thanks to the fundraising efforts of dobro.ua and monobank customers, who donated their cashback to the Courage project.
Your help has turned into warmth that could save a little life tomorrow.
Thank you to everyone who contributed.
