Help to make reno at the Dovbysh orphanage

This project is dedicated to the Dovbysh specialized boarding school and its students – children with special needs. The school is located in the Zhytomyr region, 72 children study and live here. Agree, children have the right to learn in normal conditions. And even more so when it comes to children with special needs who need additional attention and help. And the fact that the boarding school is not sufficiently funded by the state is not the fault of the children, and they should not suffer from this.

There is an alley on the territory of the institution, which is in a very poor condition and requires immediate repair: there are many holes and cracks on it. Every day, the pupils of the institution play on this alley and can be injured at any time. Unfortunately, insufficient state funding does not allow the management of the institution to repair this problem area.

The management of the institution turned to us with a request to help raise funds for the purchase of paving stones for the arrangement of the alley on the territory of the institution. Alley length – 80 m, width – 3 m, total area – 240 m2. But at the beginning and at the end of the alley there is an extension, which together amounts to about 60 m2. Therefore, the total area is 300 m2. Paving stones are just a part of the materials required for a complete renovation. The management of the institution plans to purchase the rest of the materials with the help of other partners.

It is very painful to watch children learn in inappropriate conditions. Since government funding is not worth waiting for, we decided to create this project in order to raise funds for the purchase of paving stones. We appeal to all caring people with a request to support the Dovbysh boarding school and create appropriate conditions for the education and living of the pupils of the school!
