Renovation in Dovbysh specialized school

Every child deserves decent living and learning conditions, the access to health care, the respect of their rights, the support in difficult circumstances. Children who study in specialized boarding schools/orphanages have gone through difficult stages in life and require special attention, support and care. In this project, we are raising funds to help renovate classrooms of the Dovbysh specialized school, so that the school’s residents could enjoy the comfort of the renovated classrooms in the new academic year.   

The Dovbysh specialized school is an educational institution for children with mental disabilities, the school aims to correct deficiencies of children’s mental and physical development with the help of special curriculum and programs. Currently, 51 children from 7 regions study at the school. 

The school’s classrooms require a renovation, which will be carried out at the earliest opportunity. The school’s staff put efforts to maintain the appearance of the school, but they need our help. We would like to help renovate the school’s classrooms by raising funds to purchase the necessary materials. 

The school is 2 108 sq.meters. To carry out the cosmetic repairs, we need the following items: 

- floor paint yellow-brown (100 kg);

- acrylic paint for interior use, white (100 kg);

- slaked lime (100 kg); 

- paint of various colors, enamel (50 kg); 

- solutions (10 liters).

The total cost amounts to 14,956 UAH. Repair work in the school will be carried out by volunteers.
