KINETEC KINEVIA DUO (motomed) is a device for passive mechanotherapy, which is used to rehabilitate patients after injuries, operations or diseases that limit joint mobility. This device is very necessary for the rehabilitation center "Halychyna"* in the city of Lviv, which provides assistance in the recovery of injured military personnel. Currently, this equipment is not available in the hospital, and its availability will help to make the recovery process of patients more comprehensive and efficient.

The complex rehabilitation center "Halychyna" has 20 years of experience in providing complex rehabilitation services. Almost 80% of the rehabilitation center's patients lost limbs due to injuries received during the war in Ukraine. About 300 patients are currently being treated and rehabilitated at the Center.

To date, 1,720 people have passed through the Center, who underwent 5,160 rehabilitation cycles, and 1,270 received prosthetics. Many of the human patients will return here more than once, because rehabilitation after such serious injuries must be repeated at least once a year. Patients come to restore health, repair and adjust prostheses that are wearing out.

The most common injury that injured defenders end up with is loss of upper and lower limbs, accounting for 90% of diagnoses. But there are others: abdominal injuries, craniocerebral and spinal cord injuries, consequences of stroke and heart attack combined with loss of limbs (10-15%).

They accept here not only those who have lost limbs, but also those with concomitant loss of sight and hearing, who have suffered a stroke, craniocerebral and spinal cord injuries.

Today, two locations of the institution, located in Lviv region, can accommodate 300 patients. Completion of the construction of the new complex, which the Center so badly needs, will allow to receive more than 500 people at the same time.

KINETEC KINEVIA DUO is an indispensable tool for physiotherapists and rehabilitation centers, helping to restore the functionality of joints and improve the quality of life of patients. This device provides passive movements in the lower extremities, which helps restore joint function, reduce pain, swelling, and improve blood circulation. The device allows you to rehabilitate both the knee and hip joints. Contributes to faster recovery of joint mobility and shortens the rehabilitation period. Provides soft and painless movements, which makes the procedure pleasant for the patient. Allows you to accurately control all therapy parameters, which ensures an individual approach to each patient.
