Garden tools for the Babansk orphanage

The yard of the Babansk orphanage has a lovely atmosphere with the autumn leaves falling. The children and teachers like to spend their breaks in the yard, while the yard is an excellent place for the kids to play and sledge in winter. The school staff takes care of the area around the school, but to keep the yard in good condition, they need to update the garden tools, because the old equipment is no longer suitable for work.

The Babansk Specialized School is an educational, socio-psychological and rehabilitation complex for children with intellectual disabilities. The institution provides general education, social assistance and rehabilitation as well as preparing children for an independent life. There are 88 children at the school, including 9 orphans and children deprived of parental care under guardianship, 6 children with disabilities and 25 children from significantly large families. They are from Cherkasy region: Umansky, Zhashkovsky, Khristinovsky, Talnovsky districs.

The main goal of the special school is the integration of children with intellectual disabilities into society. The school provides the following vocational training for its students: sewing, woodworking, agriculture and vegetable growing. Additionally, the school has equipment for milk processing and its own mini bakery, which provides children with fresh bread and bakery products.

Unfortunately, the old garden tools can no longer be utilized, and with the reduction of state funding, there is no means to fix the school's conditions. The school's staff requested our help to raise funds to purchase new tools. The school cannot buy new high-quality tools on its own. Garden tools are essential because the staff uses them every day in the care of the schoolyard. We want to help our partner orphanage raise funds, and we ask you to support this project with a small donation!
