Sasha must recover!

Sasha was born in October 2017, he will soon be 4 years old. The first four months of the boy's life, everything seemed normal. But when Sasha did not try to roll over on his own, his parents began to worry. At six months old, the boy was not interested in toys and did not pick up objects with his hands. Then there had been many medical examinations and tests followed by a shocking diagnosis; Sasha was diagnosed with a congenital brain defect, agenesis of corpus callosum, tetraparesis, and Global Developmental Delay. It was not easy for parents to accept the words of the doctors. But they are determined – no matter what, they want to cure Sasha and give him a real childhood.

Sasha is the youngest of three children in the family. The elder brother and sister love their little brother and support him in every possible way. When his sister comes home from school, and his brother visits the family, Sasha happily greets them, hugs and even pinches them a little – that is how he demonstrates his love. Sister Mania and Sasha like to play together, sculpt from plasticine and read books – Sasha has already learned almost the entire alphabet!

However there is no quick fix to help Sasha, there is certain rehabilitation treatment that the boy must undergo to get healthier. For the best results, the boy must attend the treatment regularly, every 2-3 months. Sasha has been attending the rehabilitation courses since he was 1 year and 2 months old. The treatment has proven to be very efficient for the boy; there have been noticeable improvements after each course: he learned to roll over, crawl on all fours, climb up and down from the sofa, say "mom", "dad" and "Mania".

As it is vital to attend the treatment on a regular basis, we want to help the family raise funds for Sasha’s rehabilitation course. The course costs UAH 28, 000 which the family can not afford. Sasha’s parents are doing everything in their capacity to help the boy, but they need our help as they can not afford the UAH 28, 000 cost of the treatment.
