On 20 May 2024, Maria Borblik, born in 2013, from Poltava region, underwent surgery
Maria is 10 years old. The girl has a congenital heart defect, namely an open arterial duct.
Her mother consulted various doctors because she could not decide to undergo surgery. The cardiologists at the Amosov National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery advised to perform surgery to close the ductus arteriosus as soon as possible, before the girl's heart changes.
Maria's parents are separated. Her mother is on maternity leave until she reaches the age of three. The girl's father is not involved in her life and upbringing. The mother is unable to pay for the cost of the occluder, so she turned to us for help.
On 20 May 2024, Maria Borblik, born in 2013, underwent surgery to close the open duct. The occluder for the operation, worth UAH 41 thousand, was purchased thanks to a charitable contribution from YBS International.
