On 27.03.2024, Shurin Daria, born in 2014, underwent surgery.
Daria was born a healthy girl. She has never had any complaints about her health. She is very active, dreamy and cheerful.
Since the beginning of the war, Daria began to feel weak and had a strong heartbeat. At first they thought it was because of the constant stress and worry about her father, who was mobilised. After suffering from the flu at the end of 2023, her shortness of breath became worse. After an examination, doctors diagnosed an open arterial duct.
The family has two children. The father is serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and uses the money he receives to help his fellow soldiers. The grandmother has cancer and spends a lot of money on chemotherapy. The family cannot quickly raise the necessary amount to buy the implant. And according to the doctor's advice, it is necessary to close the duct as early as possible so as not to destroy the child's heart.
On 27 March 2024, Daria underwent surgery to close the open duct.
Her father came to the hospital to support his daughter.
