On 30.05.2024, Maksym Pohybko, born in 2020, underwent surgery.
Maxim is 4 years old. He is a lively and cheerful boy. He wants to play sports, run with his peers and just enjoy life. But the boy has a congenital heart defect. Because of this, the child has restrictions on his exercise. Although the boy never complains about his health, his parents are concerned about his health. The boy often gets sick, gets tired quickly, and has shortness of breath.
Maxim needs endovascular closure of his heart defect with an occluder to restore his health.
Maksym's mum and dad are serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and defending our country, and our benefactors are helping to restore their boy's health.
On 30 May 2024, Maksym underwent surgery to close a congenital heart defect. The occluder for the operation, worth 41 thousand hryvnias, was purchased thanks to the benefactors of the Save the Heart project.
The operation was successful and there is hope that Maksym's health will recover quickly and his heart disease will be a thing of the past.
