Hearts are in the fire zone!

This famous children's cardiac center*, known not only in Ukraine but all over the world, has been giving life and hope to hundreds of little patients, including the youngest ones, from the first hours of their lives. However, at the tragic moment when the inhumans hit OKHMATDYT with a rocket attack, the building of the Cardiac Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine was also damaged. The life-saving operations were taking place in four operating rooms of the Cardiac Center. The blast wave hit not only the building of the Cardiac Center, but also the hearts of doctors, staff and patients. Three operating rooms were reduced to rubble, inpatient wards were destroyed, the ventilation and sterilization systems were out of order, as was the radiology department, and the elevator fell into the shaft.

The baby, who was operated on by the director of the center, a world-renowned Ukrainian surgeon, is now facing a serious and uncertain condition, as dirt from the broken windows of the operating room fell on his tender heart.

The Center for Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery is currently out of service. The little hearts have been transferred to other places where they cannot receive the same high-quality care. The hearts of these children, beating in time with hope, can stop without your help. Let's not let them stop beating, let's do everything we can to reopen this center so that it can once again give children life and hope.
