Maria was born prematurely at 30 weeks, weighing only 1690 grams. She endured a critical start – two days on a ventilator, followed by a brain hemorrhage that led to the development of cerebral palsy (CP).
Since then, the fight for her health and development has never stopped. For a long time now, Maria has been undergoing intensive rehabilitation: physical therapy, speech therapy, and sessions with a developmental specialist. Every single day is a small step forward, and every bit of progress gives hope.
But there is still a long way to go. Rehabilitation is not a one-time treatment – it is a continuous and essential process for Maria. At the age of six, she cannot walk, sit independently, or speak. To help her move forward, she needs ongoing rehabilitation.
Please help Maria get a chance at a better life. Intensive therapy can help her develop the basic skills she needs to become more independent. Every bit of your support is a step toward that goal.
Maria has the strength to transform her life, but without your help, it will be so much harder. Please don’t stay indifferent.
Thank you for every donation and act of kindness. Together, we can change this little girl’s life for the better.
