Nastya’s Mother’s Pregnancy Was Troubled from the Start
At just 15 weeks, doctors discovered placental abruption — the first alarming sign. Still, Nastya was born at 40 weeks. It seemed that the worst was behind them… But during birth, she inhaled meconium-stained fluid, and her lungs couldn't function on their own. She had to be urgently connected to a ventilator. Three weeks in intensive care and another week in the hospital — that’s how her life began.
When Nastya was three months old, her mother noticed that her daughter’s head wasn’t growing. Doctors diagnosed her with microcephaly. Soon after came more challenges: developmental delay, spastic tetraparesis, and seizures. At 10 months, Nastya began taking anti-seizure medications, which she still needs every day.
Today, Nastya is 5 years old — and she still cannot sit, crawl, or hold her head up. Her muscles are tightly clenched from spasticity. On top of that, she suffers from optic nerve atrophy in both eyes, congenital dislocations, hip dysplasia, and constant pain.
Nastya Has a Chance — But Only with Your Support
Despite it all, Nastya smiles. She responds to her mother’s voice, reacts to warmth, and her heart beats with hope. She still has potential — her brain is fighting, and her body is waiting for help.
Her only chance lies in regular rehabilitation. Specialized therapy can reduce spasticity, develop motor skills, prevent complications, and improve her quality of life. But such care is very expensive — and Nastya’s family cannot manage it alone.
Be the One to Help Nastya Take Her First Step
Every contribution you make is a step toward helping Nastya feel her body and one day hug her mother. Give this child a chance to live without pain. Even a small donation can become a great act of hope.
Help Nastya fight for her childhood. Together, we can make a miracle happen.
