For Sofia’s independence

Little Sofiika needs help with regular comprehensive rehabilitation to learn to walk, develop speech, and become more independent.

The girl was born prematurely at 32 weeks of pregnancy and has a congenital brain defect, which causes her to have impaired coordination, balance, and body control, as well as serious vision problems. Only regular classes at a specialized center provide real progress, and long breaks lead to "setbacks". Fundraising for this project will help pay for rehabilitation at the International Center for Rehabilitation and Neurophysiology (ICRN) in Kyiv, where Sofiika has already shown good results.

The girl is on a lactose-free and gluten-free diet, takes vitamins and medications to stimulate her cognitive abilities. She is under the constant supervision of a neurologist and nutritionist, attends developmental centers at home, and undergoes comprehensive rehabilitation in other cities every few months. Only regular classes are effective. Rehabilitation will take place at the ICRN in Kyiv, as Sofiika has already shown real improvement there: her muscles are strengthening, her coordination is improving, her motor and cognitive skills are developing, and there is a chance for speech development.
