Our names are Korop Anastasia and Vlasenko Kristina, we are fourth-year students of the sociology department of the V.N.Karazin University. We are future social workers and management. Every year, we understand that in our country there are many problems that need to be addressed, sometimes even emergency intervention, but all this can be corrected thanks to the well-functioning work of the state and the whole society. We really want our country not to know what acute social problems are, so that people live happily and in prosperity! Today we support lonely old people from the Second Youth club! Join us!

We really want our country not to know what acute social problems are, so that people live happily and in prosperity! Today we support lonely old people from the Second Youth club! Join us!

The “Give a Tale to Adult Children” project is aimed at helping members of the “Second Youth” club - elderly people who feel lonely, even with children and grandchildren.

Remember how happy you were with the sweets you found under the Christmas tree? Together we can make our old people happy as well by giving them everything they need for a sweet festive table. We need this help because, unfortunately, since 2019, a donor who has supported the club for more than 18 years has curtailed funding, and the Fund covers all costs on its own. Because of this, there are not enough funds for such seemingly simple things as tea, cookies, sweets.

Each person needs communication and attention, our grandparents are very happy when we visit them, bring gifts, sit down at the table and talk about everything in the world. So our strawberries really want to be able to make tea, take goodies and have a good time with their friends in the Club. How good it will be when we complete the project, collect the money and fulfill their dream!

You may ask why we chose this type of help? Unfortunately, we all know that very little attention is paid to older people, sometimes even their children and grandchildren forget about them, so they seek support in places such as the club of active longevity “Second Youth”, where they can feel needed, energetic where they can take part in various events, celebrate their birthday and even New Year. These people are our story. They did and do everything to make us live better, so now it's our time to do good for them!
