School kits for children in Kharkiv

On September 1, 2022, many schools from regions of Ukraine that are not at war will open their doors to children. But what about the children left with their parents in territories where there is constant fighting?

In Kharkiv the enemy destroyed almost 30 percent of schools, lyceums, and gymnasiums. And the situation in the region is no better, because even if the facilities have remained intact, it is extremely dangerous to let school buses pick up children in small villages, because there is a huge chance of becoming an open target for the enemy or be blown up on mines scattered by the occupants.

That is why most schools in Kharkiv will not open on September 1, which is the only right decision in this situation. But children still need to learn at least in the online format.

With all school lessons taking place at home, children still really need notebooks, pens, pencils and other stationery. Parents who have lost their jobs and have no means of subsistence barely have enough money to feed a child, let alone school supplies. In order to provide 100 children from socially vulnerable families with basic school supplies, with which they can fully study at home, we need to collect 100,000 UAH.

1 such kit will cost 1,000 UAH, which according to the age group will include different goods (notebooks thin and thick, pens, pencils, felt-tip pens, folders, paper, albums, paints, etc.), according to the following distribution:

Grades 1-4 - 40 kits;

Grades 5-8 - 40 kits;

Grades 9-11 - 20 kits.

Children are the future of our country. We appeal to everyone not indifferent to help us provide children with basic school supplies, the war must not deprive these children of their right to education.
