School bag 2024

Dear friends! Thanks to you, we managed to make a real holiday for children. Thanks to you, we were able to purchase school backpacks for children in difficult life circumstances. The assistance was received by 10 children at the beginning of the academic year 2024\2025.

In accordance with the agreement No. 48 on cooperation between the CO ICF ‘UBB’ and the CO ‘Caritas-Kyiv’ and the Additional Agreement No. 48.83 of 03.07.2024, the project ‘School Portfolio 2024’ in the amount of UAH 88800.00 was placed on the website of the CO ICF ‘UBB’ - dobro.ua - in order to attract charitable donations for the purchase of school backpacks.

By letter No. 130 dated 27.08.2024, we requested a transfer of UAH 6576.00 (six thousand five hundred and seventy-six UAH 00 kopecks) to purchase part of the backpacks. By letter No. 120 dated 04.10.2024, we asked to stop fundraising, as the project had lost its relevance, to reduce the project amount from UAH 88800.00 to the actual funds raised in the amount of UAH 8800.00 and to transfer the balance of the funds raised in the amount of UAH 2224.00 (two thousand two hundred and twenty-four UAH. 00 kopecks) to purchase the second part of the backpacks.
Children from IDP families and from families in the combat zone received school backpacks. This was a manifestation of your attention and love and financial support for them.

 We thank all of you who helped to purchase school bags for these children!
