The way to dreams

Such disease as cerebral palsy is well known to everybody. But to assume that it can appear in his family nobody can.The Rasstalny family also could not. Strong, loving family, first kid – healthy girl is almost grown-up. Second pregnancy was full of hope to meet healthy son – joy, and support for the parents. The misfortune has come not expectedly and destroyed all plans for future and usual rhythm of life.

The delivery was hard. The son was born in the 41st week with the weight of 4160 gr. The baby had hard asphyxia. Somehow boy stayed alive. Resuscitation, artificial ventilation, stomach bleeding, convulsive syndrome, staying in a regional hospital. When Sasha was 1 year old he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Since birth boy underwent medication treatment, rehabilitation (speech therapist, psychologist, massage, etc) in Truskavets, Odessa, Kharkiv, Kiev, Borispol.

Sasha has great desire to live, he thoroughly follows all the recommendations of doctors, does everything, what is prescribed. The positive attitude of the child together with the professional rehabilitation help to achieve progress, boy masters new skills in speech, movement, and understanding. Boy understands speech, loves books, loves to play, to watch cartoons, laughs, tries to crawl, says several words. Sasha is smiling, active boy, but his disease enables him from so desired and so simple things. Doctors say that he has good chance to develop, but for this, he needs rehabilitation, which requires money.

The achievements of son inspire the family not to stop and move forward to the dream. Will you help them?
