The road to independence

"Hi, I'm Mykhailo.

I have cerebral palsy. This means that my body often disobeys me: my limbs are tense, my movements are constrained, and actions that seem simple to others are a real challenge for me. But I do not give up. Every day I work out a lot, move, fight for every movement, every step. From the moment I was born, my mother has been helping me with everything I do.

Rehabilitation for me is not just treatment. Each course gives me more independence and freedom, the opportunity to be stronger and more confident. Special treatment helps to normalize muscle tone, improves coordination, and gives me the opportunity to live a life without pain, without barriers, without exhausting dependence on outside help. I start moving faster and more confidently.

I dream of living like you: just walking, without fear of falling, acting without restrictions, enjoying life without a constant struggle with my own body. To take a glass of water or tie my own shoes. To enjoy the world without thinking about how to overcome another barrier in my own body. I dream of being independent. To do this, I need rehabilitation.
