The path to health: Daniil, move forward!

The project "The Way to Health: Daniil, Move Forward!" was aimed at raising funds for our ward Daniil Trutayev to undergo rehabilitation procedures. The boy's mother is raising him alone, and the family lives in Kharkiv. Danylo has numerous diagnoses (cerebral palsy, tetraparesis, psycho-linguistic delay, optic nerve atrophy) and needs constant treatment and rehabilitation. Since the collection was completed in November 2024 and due to the child's sickness in the autumn season, the mother decided to start the rehabilitation course on 27 January 2025, in agreement with the doctor of the clinic of the Centre for Rehabilitation and Neurophysiology. In fact, the treatment was postponed twice due to Daniel's health condition. Daniil successfully underwent rehabilitation procedures from 07 April 2025 to 16 April 2025.

Thanks to the Charitable Organisation International Charitable Foundation ‘Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace’ and 88 donors, 27700.00 UAH (Twenty-seven thousand seven hundred hryvnias 00 kopecks) was raised on the Dobro.ua website. On 07 November 2024, funds were received from the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace. On 26 November 2024, by prior agreement with Daniel's mother and the Centre, rehabilitation services for Daniel Trutayev were paid for: physical therapy / exercise therapy / massage, speech therapy, occupational therapy, classes with a correctional teacher in the amount of 10 sessions per procedure, as confirmed by payment instruction 3697 of 26.11.2024 in the amount of UAH 25200.00 (twenty-five thousand two hundred hryvnias). Payment for rehabilitation procedures for the child is our significant contribution to his future.  
In addition, since the project included administrative expenses, part of the funds raised, namely UAH 2500.00 (two thousand five hundred hryvnias 00 kopecks), covered the administrative expenses of the fund, namely the payment of the unified social tax on salaries for December 2024, as evidenced by payment instruction No. 3685 dated 16.12.2024, which is attached to the report.

During rehabilitation, Daniil became more confident in walking on his own. He also made qualitative changes in his self-care (now he can drink from a cup). During the lessons with the correctional teacher, he became more attentive and conscious of his tasks. According to his mother, Daniil was able to achieve good results and improve the quality of his life.
