The goal of this project is to raise money to buy medical instruments and equipment for the Ophthalmology Department, where children are treated from all the Rivne region.

In the Ophthalmology Department at Children's Hospital of Rivne region doctors help open eyes and recover eyesight for nearly 1 000 young patients annually. And here is carried out up to 500 operations each year, 35% of which are microsurgical. For such high-accuracy work doctors need suitable equipment: slit lamp, microsurgical instruments and lenses for glasses selection. On how to be lenses to eyeglasses matched depends the health of the child, especially student , because they have to read and to write a lot. The eyes are the important tool for gaining knowledge of the future teachers, engineers and doctors. Having a suitably matched glasses, the child may learn not only without harm to health, but also learn about the world, as well as to see it clearly and vividly.

With the help of a slit lamp the doctors explore dozens of pairs of children's eyes every day. Indeed, during the treatment, and after that the control is such an important thing! For the functioning of modern microscope and microsurgical operations the department requires special instruments. Eye surgery performed in certain diseases and eye injuries.
