Kolia's learning difficulties

Mykola is 10 years old. He is a shy, withdrawn and traumatized boy from a poor family. In addition to him, his mother alone is raising her youngest daughter. It so happened that after the birth of his sister, Kolia received less attention. He began to fall behind in development, and eventually went to school a year later. The woman asked for help, because the boy does not learn the educational material and is ridiculed by his peers. Kolia is very worried that he cannot study well, although he tries very hard. 

Due to delayed mental and speech development, Kolia has difficulty concentrating, he suffers from dysgraphia (inability to master writing and reading) and dyscalculia (inability to count and solve mathematical problems). This seriously affects Colin's school performance. The boy diligently tries to maintain a conversation, but here he cannot do without the help of adults, it is difficult for him to establish contacts with peers. 

According to the conclusions of the medical and pedagogical commission, Mykola requires classes with a psychologist, speech therapist and defectologist, and he also needs an assistant teacher during his studies. 

The boy's family does not have the funds to pay for the correctional course for his son. Time passes quickly, and without mastering the primary school curriculum, Kolya will not be able to master the secondary school curriculum. This year is decisive for the future of Mykola.
