Hearing aids are a dream come true for Liza

Liza is 10 years old. The girl was born to deaf parents, and from birth she was diagnosed with bilateral chronic sensorineural deafness. Until she was 8 years old, the girl had hearing aids, but she hasn't worn them for 2 years now because she has outgrown them. Now Liza needs new high-quality hearing aids.

The girl studies at a specialized school in Chernivtsi together with her older sister Daryna, who is 14 years old. The school has a chess club, Daryna participates in chess tournaments and various competitions, and has won many awards, so now Liza has a dream to follow in her sister's footsteps and become a chess player.

Liza is a very energetic girl who loves sports and is very successful in this field. "In the future, she dreams of becoming a kindergarten teacher and working at ATB," says Liza's mother.

For children with hearing impairments, it is very important to wear appropriate hearing aids continuously, as this has a direct impact on the child's development and the quality of education. If a child does not have hearing aids, it makes it difficult for him or her to communicate with society, to understand other people, to feel comfortable among "their own" but to be lost in society. Hearing is also a sense that warns us of danger.
