In December 2023, the project "Hearing aids - realization of dreams for Lisa" was posted on the dobro.ua website.
The fundrising was completed in the same month, and in early January 2024, we purchased and donated hearing aids for the girl.
Lisa is 10 years old. The girl was born into a family of deaf parents, the child was diagnosed with "bilateral chronic sensorineural deafness" from birth. She had hearing aids until she was 8 years old, but hasn't been wearing them for 2 years now because she's outgrown them, so Lisa needed new, better, more powerful hearing aids in order to grow and learn.
The lack of hearing aids had a significant impact on the girl's life: it made it difficult to communicate with peers and teachers, and it also affects the general psychological state. Now Lisa can hear the world around her and will feel full and part of society.
