This is the story of a girl with Noonan syndrome and epilepsy who needs rehabilitation at the “World of Opportunities” inclusive center.

Sofia Shubna was born on May 4, 2020, in Lozova. The girl has been diagnosed with localized symptomatic epilepsy and Noonan syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that affects the physical and mental development of a child and can cause heart problems, growth retardation, and learning difficulties.

Despite her condition, Sofia is an open and cheerful child. She loves listening to fairy tales, drawing, and being with her mother. Each session with specialists is a step forward for her: developing skills, reducing the symptoms of the disease, and a chance for a more independent future.

Sofia's family fights for her health and development every day. They turn to caring people for help, because each rehabilitation session is a new opportunity for their daughter to explore the world without limitations.
