Sofia is waiting for help!

Tiny Sofia weighed 600 grams at birth, and there was very little hope for her survival, as her lungs did not open immediately. This was compounded by bilateral pneumonia and various neonatal sepsis. At the age of 3.5 months, she suffered a sudden cardiac arrest, and then Sofia was saved. For almost 4 months, the girl breathed with the help of a ventilator, then the Sipap device helped.

Words cannot describe how Sofia's mother felt during this time and how much the little girl herself suffered. All this time, large expenses were spent on treatment and support of Sofia's life.

Now Sofia is 7.5 months old. The mother and the girl are finally being discharged from the hospital, but not everything is as easy as it seems. She still needs an oxygen concentrator to breathe, her oxygen level and heart rate need to be constantly monitored in real time, and for this purpose, a device for continuous measurement of saturation and heart rate is needed. The cost of such a device is 18 969 UAH. The family has exhausted all its resources and does not have such funds.
