SOS! The equipment broke!

Frequent hospitalizations are compulsory and difficult, but already common for 14-year old Yulia, who lives with a genetic disease - cystic fibrosis. Hospital wards, catheters, IVs, and worst of all,  separation from the family. Yulia diligently follows the doctors' prescriptions: she takes pills, inhales, does physiotherapy exercises – everything just to be at home with her family longer, and not in the hospital. Now the girl is happy, because she is at home, but her little happiness is under threat, because the inhaler is broken, and it is almost impossible to cough up thick sputum from her lungs without inhalation.

Yulia has to do 7 inhalations a day, so the inhaler is extremely expensive (in every sense) for her family. Part of the cost of medicines is taken by the state, but only caring people can help with the purchase of equipment. Every exacerbation of the disease for a girl is not just about being treated in the hospital: infections destroy the cells of her lungs, saturation decreases, the liver functions worse, weight is lost. The quality and duration of a child's life depends on how timely and regularly a child receives treatment.

Yulia would very much like to go to school, but now it is safer for her to study individually. The girl likes to walk and run, because the more you move, the easier it is to cough up phlegm. But now she has to spend most of her time at home. To help the girl, we want to buy her an inhalation trainer and an athletic track. Physical activity will help Yulia avoid going to the hospital so often.

The girl loves to bake sweet dishes and dreams of her own cake cafe, and many other things that girls of her age dream of. But the biggest dream is to be healthy, breathe without shortness of breath and be able to live with her family and see friends every day. Please help us buy equipment that will help Yulia breathe!
