At first she stopped hearing, then walking...

On September 27, 2021, the project “First I stopped hearing and then walking…” was posted on the website of the UBB ICF, the purpose of which was to raise funds to pay for hearing aids for Maria Korchynska for a total of UAH 67,200.
Maria began to gradually lose her hearing at the age of 3, and recently, when the girl turned 18, she was diagnosed with bilateral deafness 5 degree. Maria speaks sign language and has certain pronunciation defects. Despite serious problems with hearing and speech, deaf educators see a good prospect - hearing aids will be able to help Maria better hear and master oral speech. But the family is not able to buy hearing aids on their own. So they turned to our foundation.
The collection ended in early December, and we were happy to pay for hearing aids for the girl.
Maria's family is very simple, and for them this help was necessary and very important. After all, their daughter was deprived of the ability not only to hear but also to walk, and the parents wanted to help Maria with all their might.
The new hearing aids will help the girl to compensate for the degree of hearing loss, master conscious oral speech, successfully finish school and get a profession.
