Become a magician for David!

Two brothers – David and Daniel – were born pre-term: after prolonged anoxia David twins born as a result of C-section 6-month period. Doctors were given virtually no chance of life boys... Twins was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. In time, Daniel began to develop and be stronger, but tiny (1 100 gr!), David spent 1.5 months in intensive care until his condition was stabilized. At the age of 1, he weighed only 4 kg. My mother began to look for David necessary treatment, but because of the disruption of all lung procedure was postponed.

At the age of 3.5, David underwent a rehabilitation course in the International Clinic of Rehabilitation in Truskavets for the first time. The number of courses has gradually increased to 11. David's complex treatment consists of massages, reflex therapy, wax applications, mechanical therapy, light therapy, development of the joints, exercises on a vibration plate and treadmill, oxygen manipulator and therapeutic physical training. For now David has significantly recovered. He was enrolled in grade 1 with individual education plan. The boy loves studying, but he can't say that. David attends speech therapy, and, together with logopedist, they are developing child's speech apparatus. David's legs also began to move gradually. Now he can crawl, turn over, sit cross-legged, get up and overcome short distance with support.

The doctors give positive prognosis and say that David will be able to walk independently, but he needs to take the rehabilitation courses 3 times a year not to lose the positive dynamics of recovery. David's mother Inna does her best to put her son on his legs, but she can't raise funds for another rehabilitation course on her own. The family has already spent all savings on previous treatment and therefore forced to turn to the concerned people for help.

David likes to play with cars and tractors and dreams to become a driver one day. Let's help David to get closer to his dream and set on his legs!
