Dental care without pain for Daryna

Daryna is a special girl with sensory alalia who cannot speak and urgently needs complex dental treatment under sedation. Due to her condition, she was unable to learn how to brush her teeth for a long time, and now their condition is rapidly worsening. The cost of treatment is unaffordable for her father, who is raising her alone. We are launching this fundraiser to help Daryna receive the dental care she needs without pain.

Daryna has always been a strong-willed, determined, and deeply loving child. Her character amazes even adults. Her father recalls a moment he will never forget: after receiving very painful injections in her legs, she stood silently, holding onto a stool, enduring the pain without crying, even though she could have screamed loudly. When he said goodbye before going out, she slowly walked toward him despite the pain, holding onto the wall for support. It took her nearly ten minutes to walk just a few meters, only to hug and kiss him. That moment showed how strong and tender she truly is.

Today, Daryna attends a center for children with special needs. She cannot speak, read, or write, but she deeply wants to be part of the world. She helps others in her own way – through hugs, gestures, and quiet support. She was diagnosed with sensory alalia at the age of five after years of consultations with specialists, alongside epileptic brain activity. For over a year and a half now, Daryna has been living only with her father – her mother left, and there are no relatives to help.

Despite all the challenges, they keep going together. However, the dental treatment she needs, which can only be performed under sedation, is financially out of reach.
