When a child has a serious disease since its birth and requires serious treatment, mothers have to be very inventive and flexible to manage with the situation. It is difficult to force a child to do something that is not interesting or unpleasant for him. It is difficult to explain to a small kid the need to do such boring things. The best thing is to turn as many elements of treatment as possible into a game.  

It is important for children with cystic fibrosis to move a lot. Their lungs are constantly filled with viscous sputum, which should be somehow removed out of there. Trampoline jumping is something that helps kids greatly. They can replace the part of the treatment by a fun game – and breathe.

Cystic fibrosis is a congenital and lifelong disease. It disrupts the functioning of all internal organs and systems, gradually destroying them. This process can be significantly slowed down if you follow the instructions. The components of therapy include taking a lot of medications, special physical exercises and massages, a high-calorie diet, and the recommendation of the most active lifestyle as such.

The statement that "movement is life" for a person with cystic fibrosis should be interpreted literally. The less this person moves, the worse he will feel. Thus, sometimes such people have to push themselves, to make efforts to proceed with physical exercises. As for small children – parents should activate all their imagination to encourage kids to move as much as possible.
