Children's animation studio "Bee"

In the childhood cartoons on TV could distract our attention from bad school grades and other troubles. Moreover our favorite cartoons can often help even adults to forget about the problems after the work. They will help to forget about the pain and cancer affected children at Odessa hospital. After all, they create them! At Charity Fund "Pchelka"children forget droppers and catheters, masks on their faces. This studio lacks only a new laptop.

Charity Fund "Pchelka"- a charity project that provides psychological support to children who are being treated at the department of hematology Odessa Regional Children's Hospital, as well as their parents. It is based on the method of art therapy – creating the cartoons. Children invent scenarios, draw characters, make applications, molded characters, animate the plot. Every frame was shot by camera, voiced cartoons with their parents. Plunging into the creative process, they forget about the pain and fear.

Director of Odessa studio animation Yuri Grynevych: "The key benefit of the project is that the child is thinking less about medicine, the doctors and procedures. It occupied an interesting, exciting affair, it may feel lighter, easier to tolerate child illness. This is the most important. Well, of course, creating the cartoons - developmental and enlightening moment for the children."

Fund "Pchelka" was gave a grant to the competition of social projects in Odessa and we win, taking second place of the category "Social Services Hospice, including at home and at the residential institutions." We purchased almost all necessary equipment for the studio: lighting, tripods, filters, camera, microphone. Very soon the children of hematology department will establish their first cartoon. It remains only to buy a notebook. That don’t stop the process, we are on borrowed time the old computer. We hope that our project will attract patrons UBB and soon the children of fund “Pchelka” will have their own notebook.. And then - such a rare smile on the faces of seriously ill children and their parents.
