«Saint Nicholas for children in need!»

Children only have one childhood, and it cannot be postponed for wartime! On the eve of St. Nicholas Day and the upcoming New Year's holidays, you always want a miracle.

Probably, each of us remembers how in childhood he woke up with the feeling that something especially magical and fabulous will happen today. It was snowing outside the window, and a gift from the kind grandfather - Saint Nicholas - was already waiting under the pillow. Saint Nicholas loved people immeasurably and valued everyone. Even after his death, according to legend, he continued to do good, because his relics healed the weak and sick.

But why not make a miracle yourself, for those who need it most?

It has already become a good tradition at "Caritas SDD" to hold festive events for children who need special attention from us, adults - these are children whose families are in difficult life circumstances and internally displaced children, who have been cared for by our organization since the beginning of the war. This year, despite the difficult situation in the country, we also plan to give a part of our warmth and love to those who need it most.

As part of the project "Saint Nicholas for children in need!" we plan to buy sleds and lollipops for 50 children. We would like to note that the cost of the sled is quite high and prohibitive for large families, low-income families and internally displaced families, and Drohobych is located in the foothills and Carpathian mountains. The first snow brings so many unforgettable impressions for a child. There are no such children who do not like snowy winter! But to make the walks even more interesting, we need a sled and lollipops.

St. Nicholas lives in each of us! Do not get tired of doing good and showing your mercy!
