The world through the window of pain

He was born much earlier than the first cries should have been heard. Deonisii was born tiny, weighing only 1.480 kg. From the first breath, he struggled. At the age of six months, he was diagnosed: Cerebral palsy, spastic tetraparesis. And since then, every movement is an achievement for him, and every day is a challenge.

Deonisii cannot eat or drink on his own, cannot sit without support or move his arms. He suffers from severe pain in his hip joints, which often makes it difficult to breathe. He can stand for no more than a minute if his mother holds his torso tightly, and this is a big deal for him.

But despite this, he thinks deeply, like an adult. He loves to listen to political news and car programs. His mind is bright and inquisitive. He lives by his thoughts, and if his body matched his inner energy, he could do a lot.

Only his mother supports him in everything. She has been there from the first day, from the first challenges, from the first tears. It is she who holds him - physically and emotionally. She is his support, his world. And at the same time, she is the only one. All alone. The father left them when the child was only two years old. Since then, years have passed, and his strength has been melting away. And it's getting harder and harder for Deonisii.

To slow down the pain and help the guy become at least partially independent, professional rehabilitation is needed. It's not just exercise - it's a chance to improve the quality of life, reduce pain, strengthen the body, and give you the opportunity to live a fuller life.

This project is about hope. About a smart boy who wants to explore the world. And about his mother, who never gave up. They both need our support to make the path forward at least a little easier.
