The world of Deonisii is a world in which the body fails, yet the mind and the desire to live fully never fade for a moment.
He was born far earlier than expected – tiny, weighing just 1.480 kg, and from the very first minutes of life compelled to fight. At six months, he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, spastic tetraparesis. Since then, each day has been a challenge, and every movement requires an effort invisible at first glance.
Today, Deonisii is unable to perform any actions independently: he cannot sit, rise, or eat without assistance. His body responds only when his mother is nearby — she is his hands, his support, and his sole help in all daily activities. All of
this happens against the background of constant pain in the hip joints and severe spasticity that has restricted his body for years.
However, no illness has taken away the most important things – his curiosity and interest in life. Deonisii attentively listens to political broadcasts, judicial and investigative programs, analyzes information, and forms his own conclusions. His thinking is deep, mature, and precise. His world exists in words, thoughts, and understanding.
Thanks to the support of caring people, we were able to fund his previous rehabilitation course – and it truly made a difference. His pain decreased, the spasticity became less severe and most importantly, Deonisii began making his first attempts at independent movements. Small, uncertain steps – yet deeply meaningful. For him, this is a genuine breakthrough.
That is why the new rehabilitation course is critically important. It will help consolidate the progress he has made, further reduce pain, and lessen the spasticity.
Standing beside him is his mother. She lifts him, feeds him, carries him, supports him, and comforts him. She does all of this on her own. Her strength is not limitless, but her love is immense.
This fundraising effort is about a young man who continues to fight despite everything. It is about a mother who has never stepped back. And it is about the chance we can give Deonisii together – a chance for less pain, for movement, and for a life with more possibilities than limitations
